Face Mask Donations - How to Help
Okay crafty friends…now is the time to put our skills to good use! While this post isn’t knit or crochet related, I’m confident that we’ve got some friends out their with sewing machines and/or fabric too.
SO - whats the plan / how can you help?
We’re starting a collection of hand-sewn face masks that will be donated locally as well as across the Pacific NW as part of a nationwide call for PPE to protect our healthcare providers as well as community (nursing homes, grocery store clerks, gas station attendants

etc). We'll be answering local requests as well as working with "Masks for Heroes" to find areas that are in the most need.
*SEW A MASK & DROP IT OFF - Check out this link for Pattern recommendations and a how-to video.
*DONATE FABRIC - Not able to sew masks but have extra fabric you’d like to donate? We’ll accept clean fabric - 100% cotton or cotton fleece. Also accepting elastic, which is used for the bands on the sides of the masks.
*WHERE TO DROP OFF / HOW TO DONATE - There will be a box placed outside of the front door of the shop. You’ll be able to drop off donations - or - you can also mail them to us as well. The donation box will be checked daily and all donations will be disinfected once received.
Drop off or mail masks to: Seaside Yarn and Fiber, 10 N. Holladay Drive, Ste. A, Seaside, OR 97138
(If shipping, USPS preferred).
Any questions, feel free to reach out via message or email! THANK YOU in advance for your support of our community!
